**Replacement: **None. We are no longer carrying this OLED module. This page is for reference only.
If you need a small simple display, you might want to check out this OLED. Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) displays have fantastic contrast and require no backlight! This screen is 0.96" and has 128x64 pixels and a built in controller. Check the datasheet for full dimensions, this screen is tiny!

It would be nice the have a photograph of the screen in operation to see what it actually looks like (brightness, hue, gap between pixels, etc.). I generally would not buy a graphic display without at least some photos to consider.
Wahooo ! thanks a lot for this new product. A breakout board is planned ?
Does this one have a connector ???
Just a point of data here, I just went to adafruit to get a breakout for this module, but would've purchased from sparkfun otherwise. It's been two whole years; please concoct a simple breakout for this, SF!
Found a page with some pics of the screen in operation. It looks nice and bright, but pics can be deceiving. :)
Is there a breakout board coming, or is this screen compatible with the 128x128 display breakout?
Is there a software driver that makes this display compatable with the PIC32 BitWacker board? SSD1308 is not on Microchip's driver list ...
Since you no longer stock the Sparkfun Serial Display Wondering with all the new 4D systems oled and lcd screens, why you don't offer the 4DSystems version as the replacement option? I would definitely buy one :D
Hi, I've a OLED breakout board for SH1101A OLED controller with code at http://rusticengineering.wordpress.com/
