Anyone remember In2Rowing? Anyone have a Trinity? A Solo? For those of you who don't, the In2 was a rowing computer, a 3-piece plastic injection molded beast, and part of the reason SparkFun was started. There are still In2 units and parts floating around the building and among these pieces of SFE history we dug up a a couple boxes full of these great In2Rowing branded padded cases.
These round, zip up bags have a padded upper compartment as well as a shallow lower compartment. It's solid black with In2Rowing logos embroidered on the top lid and strap handle. They're about 4 1/2 inches in diameter, which means you can stack our round parts boxes inside for portable storage. The top compartment is about 2.25 inches deep and the bottom is 1 1/2 inches deep.
Note: The round parts box listed below fits well into this case. We could fit one in the bottom and one in the top compartment.

I love the way SparkFun works that you can sell things like this. Old things you had made that you no longer need, branded with a logo for a company that no longer exists, but they're still useful! I think its cool. :)
In my opinion, a slightly bigger bag would be really practical for the purpose. Many cross-body bags are more than 2.25 inches deep and also has bottom more than 1 1/2 inches deep. I also prefer cross-body bags over any other type of bag. Cross-body bags help to balance the weight of the bag evenly. To learn more about them click here. http://www.danniishop.com
Can you really fit 3 round parts boxes in the top compartment? I think that's left over from copying the description for the large one. It looks like you could really only fit 1 in the bottom and one in the top with a bit of room to spare.
fixed, thanks.
