Card Reader - SD/microSD/M2/M5 Duo

Replacement: None. The supplier decided to move to Mars or something, so we are unable to get these from them. As of now there is no replacement and this page is for reference only.

Digital storage cards are like the floppy disks of our time. They're used to share data between devices like cell phones, cameras, computers and even Arduinos and the like. No matter whether it's carrying pictures from your High Altitude Balloon project, accelerometer data from your model glider or just pictures from vacation, at some point you'll want to get to all that juicy data.

Unfortunately, much like the floppy disk, many computers don't have built-in hardware to read your SD card. This USB multi-card reader enumerates as a removable drive and gives you access to the files on your memory cards. It's also small enough to stick in your pocket, laptop bag or ultra-stylish fanny pack.

Supports:

  • SD
  • microSD
  • M2
  • M5 Duo

This will not mount on my mac fix: I had to restart a few times and push it in farther

Does this handle SDHC? Some card readers don't grok the "...HC" part, and choke on cards over 2GB.

A much better question is whether it supports SDXC (not a silly question.. my android doesn't specify SDXC capability, but it works)
