Replacement:DEV-10506. The ProtoSnap LilyPad Development board has replaced this kit. This page is for reference only.
We like to think of this kit as an 'add-on' to the LilyPad E-Sewing Kit. The LilyPad Pro Kit gives you the full flexibility and power of the LilyPad system. Program the LilyPad main board to respond to physical changes in light, sound, or motion. Create displays of light, sound, and get physical feedback using the various LilyPad periphery boards.
Note: We had a run of these that included a defective power supply. If you have issues with your power supply, please contact techsupport@sparkfun.com and we'll take care of the issue. We apologize!

s'more Please?
What is the differece between 3.3v and 5v FTDI breakouts? which one is this kit s having?
Thanks for asking. The 3.3V and 5V FTDIs are intended to be used for the different versions of Pro series Arduinos. In general you will know which one you need. On the Lilypad, the voltage is 5V. You'll want a 5V ftdi to program with. This one is designed to pair directly with the Lilypad.

Can you clarify something for me, please?
This comment suggest the lilypad requires the 5V FTDI interface. The comment above from Pearce (who appears to be a Sparkfun employee) specifies that it is actually a 3.3V FTDI interface. If that were so the Lilypad would not work, correct?
So which is it, does this board come with a 5V FTDI or does the Lilypad operate at 3.3V? The standalone Lilypad FTDI seems to suggest that it is indeed 5V.
Pearce's comment hidden, it's wrong. It uses and comes with a 5V FTDI.
I just looked at the board again and saw the little 5V text. Top notch silkscreening as usual and thanks much for the clarification!
According to the specifications and pictures, I am almost certain it includes a 5V Ftdi Breakout.
HELLO =)
say the switch fails?, I have customers who will install and can this kit in your clothes to hip hop choreography, as I am assured that the devices will not fail? and in case of failure as I can see that the fault came as factory and it was not me who caused it?
thankss
I'm not sure which switch you are referring to, but we don't generally have major failures. If you do have problems with your purchased components, contact us at techsupport@sparkfun.com and we can help you out.
Prices are set to ?0.00, please take a look and correct them ;)
It was a fire sale! Actually, we were trying to get our ducks in a row. The LilyPad Pro kit now comes boxed in its own red SparkFun box. I think we've even got nice stickers to seal the boxes. We struggled with the switch over, but now all should be correct. Thanks for the heads up!
