Always, always, always wear eye protection while soldering. This is a golden rule we all know but sometimes overlook. Luckily, with these SparkFun Safety Glasses you'll have a pair of lightweight, economical, and stylish lenses to protect your precious peepers.
Each pair of these safety glasses removes the SparkFun Geek logo from the lens and adds a single SparkFun flame to the left temple arm. We use these for eye protection in our production lines and classrooms here at SparkFun HQ!
We welcome your comments and suggestions below. However, if you are looking for solutions to technical questions please see our Technical Assistance page.

These are very good glasses. No distortion. I would recommend them.
Very clear and comfortable!
Good glasses
TJ looks like he's looking at a project involving a bright blue laser in a dark room and wondering either why it doesn't work or how can he hack it
Any chance of getting these in the style that lets you wear eyglasses under them? I use the slightly adjustable eyeglass compatible style safety goggles at work every day and would love to have them with the logo.
Datasheet please :P
How difficult is it to wear these and prescription glasses at the same time?
About as difficult as it is to wear two pairs of glasses at the same time. Not impossible, but not really comfortable.
The pictures show 2 different models of glasses. Which one is it?
what do you mean ruin them? it just makes them more awesome!
Sarcasm?
are they Z87.1?
They do not have a specific ANSI specification, so the short answer is 'no'.
hmm...I have a pair just like these still in the bag and labeled ANSI Z87.1. It's branded as Zenon Z12.
There are many manufacturers of this style we found...
This answer greatly saddens me. I wanted to be able to wear these in class.
