XRP Design Challenge Deadline Reminder
As we approach the end of our XRP Design Challenge on Printables, we want to remind you to submit your projects!
As we approach the finale of our XRP Design Challenge on Printables, we want to take a step back from the competitive atmosphere and show our gratitude to everyone who has submitted a project! In the spirit of healthy competition, we won't specifically point out what our favorite projects are, rather let us highlight some of the cool general themes we are seeing.
- Mobility Mods: Maybe the most common type of submission, there are so many interesting ways people have altered the way the XRP moves. Wheel mods, directional mods, adding legs, track systems, monster trucks and more!
- Sensor Mounts: Lots of cool ways to add functionality to the XRP, people are designing mounting systems for some of our ecosystems (like Qwiic) but also for cameras etc.
- Fun/Game Additions: Battle bots, balloons, launching and shooting things off the XRP - it's getting wild (and fun)!
Make sure you check out all the amazing projects already submitted on Printables! Perhaps they will even to inspire you to finish your project! Keep 'em coming!
It's worth noting that we are working with Printables to reduce the number of spam and off-topic submissions in the contest before judging. If you have any questions about what qualifies, please read the "Entry Info" tab on the contest page.
As a reminder, the competition isn't over until August 17th - you can still submit or edit your projects until that point. We will be reviewing projects for a week after that and announcing the winners on the 24th. How will you expand the XRP? Let us know in the comments! Maybe we'll even send you a DIY Kit!
