Here at SparkFun HQ, a new building means more room for new toys. We made a short (and at least mildly-amusing) video about some of them; here's Production Manager Robert Hunke showing off our new Vitronics Soltec XPM3m reflow oven and Dek Horizon 8 stencil printer. Check out this behind-the-scenes glimpse into life on the SparkFun production floor:
Who cares about the toast. What is more important is that SF is tooling up to run their products in their building in the United States! That is why I always check with them first when buying parts for projects.
Mmm... Leaded toast! :)
But is the stencil printer PB&J friendly?
Yes, but can it make a grilled cheese sandwich?
So with everything being faster, less hands-on, and more accurate, this will reduce costs? Passing any of that on to customers?
Looking sharp fellas!
I graduate college in 2 years. I wish I could work or atleast do an internship there! So many fun toys!
