    I like 'Clippy' as suggested below.

    But my vote is for naming the mascot 'Ally Gator Clipette'.

    To me, the obvious name for the character on the back of the gator:bit is "Clipper" (or maybe "Clippy").

    It seems to me that a "Qwiic" connection might have been a good inclusion on gator:bit...

      Or even a Qwiic connector to gator pad adapter board like the Qwiic adapter but with alligator clippable pads instead of the regular through hole pads. The adapter board would also be useful to connect Qwiic devices to wearables like the lillypad series.
