Friday Product Post: We're Amped Up!
Today we have a new Configurable OpAmp Board, a RISC-V Dev board, two SDRs, and a few other components for your next project!
This week we have a ton of new products to show off! Leading the pack is the SparkFun Configurable OpAmp Board designed by our very own Pete Dokter. We also have a couple new boards we are testing out, including an Arduino-compatible RISC-V development board and two SDRs with accessory packs. Rounding out the day we have a new version of our thermal printer, two adapter cables that change JST-PH to JST-SM and back, and a new rocker switch!

The SparkFun TSH82 Configurable OpAmp Board was designed to give you the best combination of performance and flexibility by offering two gain stages, each one independently accessible on the header pins. Each stage is natively configured as an inverting amplifier that can also be strung together to expand the capabilities of the OpAmp. With the use of the jumpers on the back of the board, you can configure each stage for non-inverting operation, differential input and DC input coupling.
The HiFive1 is a low-cost, Arduino-compatible development board featuring the Freedom E310, making it the best way to start prototyping and developing your RISC‑V applications. Not only can the HiFive1 help build RISC-V platforms, but it is also the first commercially available option to do so! The HiFive1 can simply be plugged in to your computer via the micro USB port on the front of the board. Additionally, the HiFive1 comes programmed with a simple bootloader and a demo software, so you aren't restricted to the Arduino IDE.

The LimeSDR is a low cost, open source, apps-enabled software defined radio (SDR) platform used to support just about any type of wireless communication standard. With the LimeSDR, you'll have a hardware platform for developing and prototyping high-performance and logic-intensive digital and RF designs, using Altera’s Cyclone IV FPGA and Lime Microsystems's LMS7002M transceiver. LimeSDR can send and receive UMTS, LTE, GSM, LoRa, Bluetooth, Zigbee, RFID and Digital Broadcasting, to name but a few. We also offer an Antenna Pack for the LimeSDR!

The LimeSDR Mini development board is a hardware platform for developing and prototyping high-performance and logic-intensive digital and RF designs that use Altera’s MAX 10 FPGA and Lime Microsystems’s LMS7002M RF transceiver. Simply put, the LimeSDR Mini is a smaller, less expensive version of the original LimeSDR. However, it still packs a punch - at its core, the LimeSDR Mini uses the same LMS7002M radio transceiver as its big sibling. The Mini has two channels instead of four and, by popular demand, SMA connectors instead of micro U.FL connectors. Like the LimeSDR above, we also offer an Antenna Pack for this miniaturized version.

This is a thermal printer like you would find on a cash register or adding machine. It will print simple strings passed via TTL serial, bitmap images (poorly) and it can generate several different formats of barcodes. This model can even print QR Codes! The thermal printer takes 2.25-inch (57 mm) thermal paper, with a max roll diameter of 1.5 inches (39 mm).
This little round on/off/on toggle switch is rated up to 10A at 125VAC, and can be panel mounted in a 20-millimeter-diameter hole.
Last up this week are these two JST-PH to JST-SM adapter cables. We offer them in both male and female varieties, and these are best used to change the type of JST termination on EL (electroluminescent) wires!

I'd like to know what's been improved in the thermal printer compared to the old one?
This version can print QR codes on top of everything else it has been able to print in previous iterations. Hope this helps!
