Hello and welcome, everyone! This week, we have two new versions of some of our favorite audio boards with the Teensy Audio Adaptor Board and the EasyVR 3 Plus Shield for Arduino. Following those up we have a new HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor, and our very own NOOBS card - a more economical solution for setting up your favorite Raspberry Pi board.

Teeny but LOUD!

For quite a few hours (about 2 days, in fact) I was getting the "we're putting ourselves back together" thing instead of the usual SparkFun web site. The thought occurred to me that if someone were "desparate" to order something, they could (likely) call up and place an order by telephone -- IM[NS]HO, it would be wise to modify the "back together" page to include said telephone... (Fortunately, I didn't happen to need to order anything at the moment, and could probably dig up the number from other resources.)

Is this a typo? "This version of the sensor has additional control circuitry that can provide inconsistent "bouncy" data depending on the application."

If its not a typo, then I would prefer you keep that additional circuitry and I'll go about my day without inconsistent bouncy data. ;-)
