About the Challenge:
Ethernet is key for high-speed data communication in process, automation and building technology. 10BASE-T1L Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) is a new ethernet technology that is characterized by the fact that even for gigabit data rates only one copper wire pair is needed. It is the future for ethernet.
This design challenge is intended to get as many people exposed to and building with SPE to showcase powerful, creative use cases across applications. As a general starting point, 10BASE-T1L protocol is ideal for:

- Environmental Monitoring
- Traffic Infrastructure
