You can tell by our large assortment of tweezers that we here at SparkFun are way into picking up tiny things. To make sure we're always up to date on the latest in 'tweezing' technology, we're always buying and testing new tweezers. Okay... tweezers aren't exactly the most exciting thing in the world, but they are super handy.
These are nice, solid straight tweezers. They have a very fine tip which allows you to pick up very small parts with precision. This is a great tool to have if you're working with surface mount components or anything with very small parts. The ESD-safe coating will also help prevent electro-static damage to sensitive electronic components. The best part? They're bright red and have the SparkFun logo printed right on them!
Whether it's for assembling a kit, hacking an enclosure, or creating your own parts; the DIY skill is all about knowing how to use tools and the techniques associated with them.
Skill Level: Noob - Basic assembly is required. You may need to provide your own basic tools like a screwdriver, hammer or scissors. Power tools or custom parts are not required. Instructions will be included and easy to follow. Sewing may be required, but only with included patterns.

Pros:
This tool is great from removing Integrated Circuits (ICs) from prototyping tools (like breadboards) and IC sockets. A must have for working on electronics.
Cons: Upon arrival, a bit of the red paint on the handle was chipped off. This did not effect the operation of the tool, and I am still very happy with it.
I love these tweezers so much I've bought 3 pairs! I love how fine tipped they are and I haven't owned any tweezers with such a small tip previously. I would recommend these to a friend and will buy them again when I inevitably misplace the ones I currently own.
Really fine tip, aligned perfectly, the perfect slight curve to make grabbing things work properly (can be a problem with cheap tweezers), come with a little rubber tip which help prevent accidental bending in storage, and I think they have the perfect amount of resistance in the springiness. Toss these in your order for sure.
Protip: take a marker and scribble some lines on the cap so you can find it more easily.
I love these little guys.
very fine precise tips on these bad boys - very nice for the price
Are the handle bodies of these wider than the blue TOL-09226 tweezers? They look like it in the pictures, but maybe not.
I believe they are, however, I can not proove this because we no longer carry the blue tweezers.
Are the two halves electrically connected? 'Cause if not, then I see a super-cheap tweezer multimeter in the making!

did you made it ?
Yes, they are.
Hmm. I guess I could cut 'em in half and stick them back together with sugru, so that they'd be isolated...
