This pack of female headers includes two 6-pin headers and two 8-pin headers. This is similar to the header kit that comes with Arduino shields except that the pins are shorter so they don't stack. These are useful for Arduino compatible boards that don't come with headers already installed (like the Arduino Pro).
This skill defines how difficult the soldering is on a particular product. It might be a couple simple solder joints, or require special reflow tools.
Skill Level: Noob - Some basic soldering is required, but it is limited to a just a few pins, basic through-hole soldering, and couple (if any) polarized components. A basic soldering iron is all you should need.

When another header with long pins are stacked ,it does not go all the way in. There is a bigger gap then stacked long pins header into the Arduino uno board header. :(
I second the need for update, but suggest it as an alternate version of the product, as I think some may need this version.
Looks like this kit needs an update for Arduino 1.0 -- the new headers are: 6, 8, 8, and 10 pin headers.
