These are standard 0.1" spaced header pins that can be through-hole mounted. This header connects perfectly with most 8-pin male headers.
This is a 8-Pin female header.
This skill defines how difficult the soldering is on a particular product. It might be a couple simple solder joints, or require special reflow tools.
Skill Level: Noob - Some basic soldering is required, but it is limited to a just a few pins, basic through-hole soldering, and couple (if any) polarized components. A basic soldering iron is all you should need.

does this fit on a bread board?
but, this is made for male headers which DO fit into a breadboard, why not just stick the headers directly into a breadboard? by using this in a breadboard you're essentially just creating a redundant connection.
Not really; although the pin spacing is right, the pins aren't long enough to make contact. For a breadboard these will work better.
