This is a 10 pack of Biomedical Sensor Pads, disposable electrodes that can be used to measure EEG, ECG and EMG levels. these little pads are perfect for short-term monitoring of Neurofeedback and Biofeedback purposes. They are to be used once and are very handy because of integrated, latex-free gel. Each pad adheres very well to the skin and the snap connector can be pushed on or removed from the electrode lead with no issue.
Note: This product is NOT a medical device and is not intended to be used as such or as an accessory to such.
If it requires power, you need to know how much, what all the pins do, and how to hook it up. You may need to reference datasheets, schematics, and know the ins and outs of electronics.
Skill Level: Noob - You don't need to reference a datasheet, but you will need to know basic power requirements.

The metal connections were extremely hard to connect and disconnect without ruining the pads. Additionally there was sticky residue left on my skin for 3-4 days after I used them that I couldn't get off no matter how much I scrubbed.
They do work though...
Stuck very well and stayed pretty sticky even after removal. Not much sticky residue on skin, but the residue was a little hard to remove. Good signal quality was obtained using these electrodes. Functioned well for EOG application as well! Alligator clips simple and quick to attach. Arrived in the expected amount of time.
always the best
I live on Pluto where these are $1 for a million pieces, but seriously, are these funding Obamacare?
I live in Russia and these pads cost just 10 $ for 50 pieces. Your pads cost an arm and a leg. P.S. My pads are in tight germproof pack. So my product is actually a medical device instead of yours.
Just pondering.... if they are usually used 3 at a time.... why not sell them in a 12 pack? ;)
Mostly because that's how we get them. But think of it as 3 sets with a spare for when you accidentally rip one off. This is one of those things that even if you use 3 at a time you are probably going to be using extras at random times.
They teach this sales philosophy in business school. Give them the Hot Dog Bun/Hot Dog sales approach and the customer will be compelled to buy more in order to get an evenly divided amount. It costs the manufacturer less to make the item in quantity and the customer more to buy in small quantities. Win/Win for the man. and seller, just not for the customer!
Keep in mind also that not everyone is using these for ECG/EKG applications. I use them for GSR as well, which is a 2-lead job... so there's really no ideal number. The Bitalino board, for instance, uses 5 electrodes at a time.
