Lithium Ion Battery - 110mAh

This is a very small, extremely light weight battery based on Lithium Ion chemistry. This is the highest energy density currently in production. Each cells outputs a nominal 3.7V at 110mAh! Comes terminated with a standard 2-pin JST-PH connector - 2mm spacing between pins. These batteries require special charging so please do not attempt to charge these with anything but a specialized Lithium Polymer charger.

Each battery includes a built-in protection against over voltage, over current, and minimum voltage. Please use caution when using this battery in wearable projects. When using conductive thread, a short in the thread can create sparks and heat. We recommend using coin cell batteries for beginners.

Note: This battery is not available to ship to Alaska or Hawaii, or through any express services (2-day, overnight), or internationally. This is temporary! Check out our blog post for more information. Additionally orders may take longer to process and therefore do not qualify for same-day shipping. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

Core Skill: Electrical Prototyping

If it requires power, you need to know how much, what all the pins do, and how to hook it up. You may need to reference datasheets, schematics, and know the ins and outs of electronics.

2 Electrical Prototyping

Skill Level: Rookie - You may be required to know a bit more about the component, such as orientation, or how to hook it up, in addition to power requirements. You will need to understand polarized components.

Works fine, is very small and inexpensive

I am using this to replace an old 100mAh coin style lithium rechargeable (VL3032 as far as I can tell, but the dimensions of the original cell don't exaclty match the datasheets) in a 15 year old smartwatch. This is smaller, and slightly higher rated capacity and I believe a higher current draw rating than the original cell. The watch charger circuit and this battery seem to get along pretty well together. Quality feels higher than some similar lipo packs I bought from a street vendor in Hong Kong and those still work over 2 years later. Local pickup made thisby far the cheapest option that would fit in the case and have specifications that are close enough to work..

Good idea

That size is perfect for small devices.

Horrible

Sparkfun changed the distributor while not updating the new batteries' dimensions. When we tried to return the batteries Sparkfun would not accept our return or credit the order. Now we have batteries that do not fit and can not return them or use them.
