This is a mountable SPDT slide switch --- great for use as a general control switch. The pins are spaced by 3.7mm (0.14"), making breadboard use not an option. It is rated for 300mA at 125VAC.
This switch has two handy 2mm mounting holes on each side of the actuator, making it easy to install while providing a discreet slide switch for your next project.
You can find a drawing of this part here.
This skill defines how difficult the soldering is on a particular product. It might be a couple simple solder joints, or require special reflow tools.
Skill Level: Rookie - The number of pins increases, and you will have to determine polarity of components and some of the components might be a bit trickier or close together. You might need solder wick or flux.

What are the physical dimensions of the switch case?
I had to search for this too. It's under "Support Tips": https://github.com/SparkfunTechSupport/Additional-files/blob/master/PRT-14330/PRT-14330.JPG

So I figured out my own question (by asking a coworker). The answer is no going over voltage or amperage. So undervoltage is fine, but over current is not, even with the lesser voltage. 👍🏻
