The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W can be a bit tricky to set up with its unique power and cable requirements. That's where this kit comes in. The SparkFun Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W Basic Kit provides you with everything you need to get started with this successive Pi, all without breaking the bank.
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is still the Pi you know and love but at a largely reduced size of only 65mm long by 30mm wide and at a very economical price. With the addition of WiFi and Bluetooth(R), the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is ideal for making embedded Internet of Things (IoT) projects. The Pi Zero 2 W has been designed to be as flexible and compact as possible with mini connectors and an unpopulated 40-pin GPIO allowing you to use only what your project requires.
Inside each kit you will find a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, a 64GB MicroSD card with 170MB/s read speeds and 70MB/s write speeds, Mini HDMI to HDMI and USB OTG cables, and a Raspberry Pi 12.5W Micro-USB Power Adapter.
If a board needs code or communicates somehow, you're going to need to know how to program or interface with it. The programming skill is all about communication and code.
Skill Level: Rookie - You will need a better fundamental understand of what code is, and how it works. You will be using beginner-level software and development tools like Arduino. You will be dealing directly with code, but numerous examples and libraries are available. Sensors or shields will communicate with serial or TTL.

If it requires power, you need to know how much, what all the pins do, and how to hook it up. You may need to reference datasheets, schematics, and know the ins and outs of electronics.
Skill Level: Rookie - You may be required to know a bit more about the component, such as orientation, or how to hook it up, in addition to power requirements. You will need to understand polarized components.

Great Kit and arrived on time. I really liked that a Kingston 'Canvas' SD card was included. Now I just need to figure out which project this goes in :)

Work great for several projects I'm working on.
The Pi Zero runs local low-res video with sound and some applications on the desktop but not LibreOffice, for example. Using the Geany editor, I successfully removed pyaudio references from my EnMorser Python tkinter code and ran it. I moved the initial code using Windows FileZilla over sftp to the Pi. https://github.com/permakent/EnMorser The EnMorser is intended to act as a Morse code terminal on a touchscreen. I have a SPI 3.5" resistive display but haven't hooked it up to the Zero 2 W. So far, so good.
Everything else has worked well except for the camera port on the actual Pi. Currently I cannot even use the camera, and the port clip launches off from one side really easily, leaving me to think that the pi port clip just is not secure enough.

... for some reason I thought the kit also came with a case. Perhaps you could add that to the kit? I think people would be happy to pay for it.
