Rotary Encoder Breakout - Illuminated (Red/Green)

This is a breakout board for the Red/Green illuminated rotary encoder. It breaks out all of the pins to standard, breadboard friendly, 0.1" headers. Simply solder an encoder down to the board and you're ready to add illuminated input to your next project. The breakout even has four holes to make it easy to mount.

this board needs a redesign, i am fairly disappointed that the 3 A GND B pins dont align to the SW R G GND pins for use in a breadboard meaning that once its soldered up it will be on an angle.
Realized the same thing after soldering on header. Argh! My fix was to manually bend an offset for the 3pin side using small flat nose pliers.
Agreed, having just recieved mine about 4 days ago, It is a bit disappointing that the holes are not lined up to give a nice square fit.
Well These are nice, but there is a problem - the pins don't align quite right for plugging into a breadboard. The headers are centered left to right on the three pin header and on the four pin header creating a slightly twist when plugging into a breadboard.
BTW: this breakout board will not fit the other rotary encoder.
Pins still not aligned as of Feb 2013. (The pins on 0.1" centers, but the two headers are offset by 0.05" with respect to one another.)
This board will not work with the RGB Encoder. I bought two with my RGB Encoders not noticing that it didn't have the correct number of pins in the picture. The description does not say it will not work with this board though it did show up as a related product at the bottom though.
Looking at the eagle files and these pictures it looks like the ground holes are not connected. Am I missing something?
Try pressing the Ratsnest button (lower left, looks like a X) in order to see the copper pour and you'll notice that the entire surface is ground and does connect to the ground pins.
Are the Rotary Encoders gonna be back in stock anytime soon, so that these are useful?
