If you leave out R2 and re-label CON PIN 1 from *PEN to PG5 you can use this board for the atmega2561 and atmega1281 processors as well as the atmega128 and atmega64.

Is it just me or are the JTAG pins missing?

Yes, it seems like the picture is a prototype. Here is an image of the (green) version with the JTAG in place. http://www.shop.kristech.eu/product_info.php?cPath=22_38&products_id=55&language=EN

  • Don't suppose there is a chance you will be getting the microcontrollers to go with this board anytime soon?
