Hello:
Can I use Keil ULINK2 to program/debug this board?
Thanks!
I would love to see one of these babies running a RepRap machine. The ability to store multiple build files on an SD card, download all the files over USB, then use a serial interface display to control which parts to print!
Hmmm, good idea. I'm thinking more of a CNC but same difference. I would generally have my CNC hooked up to my computer so usually it wouldn't matter if I used this board or not, but if there was a problem with my computer my CNC would still work with selectable builds.
Hi,
this morning I received the Lpc2148. I just tried to power it via USB and the NXP chip becomes after few seconds extremely hot. I also tried to use two different power supply (6v and 5 V) and the capacitor close to the power supply and the chip become hot as well. Is it normal? Is it drawing too much current?
Thx
Francesco
Hey Francesco,
I'm really sorry to hear about that. It's rarely normal for these chips to get extremely hot, especially straight out of the box. Drop us an email with as much info as possible. We can help you troubleshoot or get you set up to send it back for testing and replacement.
