JST Right Angle Connector - White

Two pin, compact surface mount connector. We really like the solid locking feeling and high current rating on these small connectors. We use these all the time as battery connectors.

This is a 2-pin JST-PH right angle surface mount connector.

    Danger!
    In the SFE Eagle Library, it's easy to misread the origin mark on the M02 symbol as a '+' polarity marker, when that pin in fact connects to the negative side of the S2B-PH package (this part).
    I'm afraid I might have just toasted my battery charging chip.. I'm hoping that little wisp of smoke was just flux burning off.

    Is there a through-hole version for people who do not feel comfortable with soldering surface mount connectors? How difficult is it to solder this connector, if I have never done any surface mount soldering?

    I have the SparkFunEagle-04-13-10.zip library but I cannot find this part anywhere... Has it been removed?

    Hey Guys,
    I got a few of these, and I'm having a bit of trouble with them. They seem too "tight." I'm using them in conjunction with the lipo batteries listed on this site, and when I plug them together, I can't get them to pull apart again?
    And ideas?

      They're designed in that manner to insure a solid connection in all applications. If you're consistently unplugging them you can shave the notch on the top of the male connectors down. Just remember over time that could reduce the quality of the connection between the connectors.

      It's under the M02 category of the Sparkfun library. You will find a bunch of connector in the M** categories.

    Hey, does anybody know what style these conectors are?
    are they sh, st... i cant seem to find it anywhere. thanks! And there not to hard to solder Larsi, maybe a good first surface mount experience to boost confidence in your soldering skills.
