Replacement: None. Unfortuantely, this guy is a little past its prime. Due to slow sales and just being old, we've decided to remove it from the catalog. This page is for reference only.
AVR-ISP500-TINY is a fast and reliable USB AVR programmer. It has two modes of operation: STK500 compatible USB programmer and USB Mass storage. In STK500 mode it works directly with AVR Studio. It is recognized as STK500 programmer and programs all AVRs. It emulates USB CDC so it needs no drivers and works under Windows, Linux and MacOS. If you do not want to use AVRStudio you can use AVR-ISP500 with AVRdude. In mass storage mode, the STK500 shows up on your computer as a new flash drive. You can then drag and drop a HEX file on to this drive. The ISP500 will then program the target AVR attached to the ICSP connector. This is totally platform independent and works on any computer with USB host without need for additional software.
AVR-ISP500-TINY has internal flash of 2MB and can log AVRStudio communication and then replay it with single button push. This allows you to load a HEX file on to the internal flash, and then quickly program multiple targets with a single button press.
