I know this is really nitpicky, but the FIRST robots were using pneumatics, not hydraulics. Hydraulics are not allowed in FRC due to the potential to spill oil all over the place.
That being said, if you were to start carrying 24-volt solenoids for a working pressure of 60 PSI or pneumatic pistons that are cheaper than all the gear Bimba sells, you might make some friends in FRC. -
Sorry, until this comes with HDMI and a social life, I'm not buying it.
