If it isn't a quality meter from a reputable manufacturer, I'd trust the cat rating as far as I could throw it. Ive had a $25 "CAT III" meter explode when I tried to measure a 2-phase 240v line. We're talking about enough force to split the case open and soil a perfectly good pair of pants.

I got an actual mega adk a few days ago, after wading through miles of poorly documented libraries, broken example code and vague google "manuals" (Install these libraries, ???, profit) I have yet to get my phone or tablet to even see it. Would not reccomend.

I have a couple of Series 2 Radios, the wire antenna isn't very tolerant to flexing. Mine broke off the boards ages ago and I had to replace them.

Why does this always happen to me? The DAY after I ordered an R-Pi from farnell you guys start carrying them. I could have waited and ordered some more bits that I need from you.
Also props to Rob for keeping a straight face shooting a video dressed like a banana. I'd lose it after a few minutes.

Questions: Does the user have direct access to the onboard Wi-Fi to communicate with other devices on the LAN? Can we communicate directly with websites, or does everything route through your servers? What happens if this thing can't connect to the internet, does it retain it's last known code or does it require a persistent connection to function?

Dc motors spin when power is applied, so no you cant power it and have it not move onless you lock it up mechanically. Motors dont like this and it eats power. There is a braking function on these though, it effectively shorts both motor terminals to ground.

Anyone know how much thrust one of these puts out? I.e. can it lift it's own weight?

I have a feeling this is your run-of-the-mill brushless fan motor. If it is, DO NOT do this, ICs and reverse polarity don't do well together.

[rant] For years I facepalmed at Arduino using a doubly-deprecated and bulky B connector that shorted out shields. Instead of moving to miniB, which almost every other development board uses and I have 2 of on my dev machine, plus 10 more in a bucket, they go with flimsy micro which i hate and have 1 of, and it's for my cell phone charger. Now I need to buy another cable just to have 3 different flavors of the same bloody interface on my bench. Briliant. [/rant]
