For every rotary encoder you sell you should add 'how many pulses / 360°' in the description, so your customers don't have to look up the datasheet. It is 24 for this one...

How does this compare to the MPU-9250 https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13762 (looks like it is the same price)?

Looks like "ground" is not broken out. Wouldn't any real hacking (like adding a filter or such) require ground? I know I can add a cable, but if I want to keep it in the enclosure a broken out ground pin would have been really useful...

Not sure on this one - the 20Mhz might be a problem. Arduino setup is usually either 8Mhz or 16Mhz - so the timing routines need to be changed (milliseconds and microseconds and such). Probably just selecting a different prescaler...

Both, the ATMega328 and the ATMega168, are rated up to 20Mhz - so just connect a 20Mhz crystal and you are good to go.

I don't understand why it would be very hard to run a 5 meter addressable strip (5 * 60 = 300 LEDs) with an Uno. What are your concerns? Is it power consumption? In worst case (all on) you would need 18A so the 500mA that an Uno can provide is not enough, but any 5V/20A external power supply will fix this. Is it RAM? You need 900 bytes - no problem for an Uno.
