Hidden Control Glove

Operate a robot or other device without anyone knowing! Hide this "sub-glove" under a regular glove (either gauntlet style, or with a long sleeve). The two thumb joysticks (bia the LilyPad Protoboards) are worked by the index and middle fingers, and 2 buttons each (U/D) for the ring and little fingers and the thumb. Signals are sent to the remote device via XBee.

Whether the meaning of any given button is determined by the glove's processor or the processor in the remote device should depend on the complexity and processing power in the device.

Absent from this: * A button or two controlled by the thumb (a digital I/O expansion, DAC module, or additional Arduino board would be needed for that or any other digital I/O). * Some sort of LCD or OLED display, to show things like the battery levels of the glove and its device (along with the time and date, so nobody suspects what this really is -- hence the RTC module). The separate Sewable LCD Display project may be a workaround until something more solid appears. * A data mux, which is a separate project. * Additional biometric sensors (such as a thermometer) to further the above illusion. These could be put on a separate XBee-enabled item to be located elsewhere on the body; in any event a separate processor would probably be needed. * Conductive thread and ribbon cable, sold separately. The latter is recommended for the signals from the buttons, and possibly from the bio-sensor and to/from the XBee unit.
