Hello everyone and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! This week, we have 13 brand new CNC milling products from our friends at Shapeoko. We start the week off with three new Shapeoko 5 Pro options to choose from and then go into 10 accessories for them, including a precision router, clamps, precision tools, repair options, and more! We have a lot of new products to get through this week, so let's not take any extra time and let's jump in and take a closer look!
Shapeoko 5 Pro uses hardened linear rails and ballscrews for increased productivity and accuracy. It was built to run all day, every day, giving you maximum productivity and profit. The Shapeoko is a desktop, 3-axis CNC Machine kit that allows you to create your 2D and 3D designs out of non-ferrous metals, hardwoods, and plastics. 2ft. x 2ft., a 4ft. x 2ft., and a 4ft. x 4ft. options are all available.
The Carbide ER-11 Compact Router is a custom-made trim router packaged for use with any Shapeoko CNC routers. Carbide 3D has worked with their router manufacturer for a year to develop this router specifically for the Shapeoko 5 Pro.
This is Sweepy Pro, the first Carbide 3D fixed height dust boot, made only for the Shapeoko 5 Pro. Sweepy Pro is perfect for wood, plastic, or composite materials. We recommend using a high-flow dust collection and separator unit for maximum effect. Like most dust boots, you won't see a huge benefit if you're cutting metal, but it'll handle almost everything else with ease.
The BitZero from Carbide 3D is a small accessory piece for your Shapeoko CNC machine meant to assist in finding the edges, or datums of the part you are milling. This part is an active probe, and when contacted to ground, communicates its position to the Carbide Motion program to help you fabricate easier.
Need more screws and Teez Nutz for workholding? This kit includes an assortment of hardware to expand your clamping abilities. The kit includes 12 Teez Nutz and 36 bolts in six different lengths. The bolts are M6 x 1.0mm pitch and are compatible with the Teez Nutz and all of our CNC clamps.
Not only are these clamps heavy-duty and molded from glass-filled nylon, they're magnetically actuated making removal quick and easy. In addition to making these from durable polymers, the new Crush-It Essentials and Stops are reinforced with stainless steel hardware making them significantly stronger than anything 3D printed while remaining less of a threat to end mills should you mill through one.
The Crush It Pro Clamps are crafted from 6061 aluminum, providing three mechanical benefits over the glass-filled nylon essentials.
The Carbide 3D McFly Cutter (in 1/4in. and 8mm versions) will make light work of any lumber thrown at it. The razor-sharp, indexable carbide tips are perfect for surfacing your wasteboard or finishing up that beautiful end grain cutting board you've been working on.
Keep your Shapeoko 5 Pro linear rails up and running with this maintenance kit. This simple kit provides you with everything you'll need to keep your CNC running smoothly and without issue.
