The ThingMagic M7E UHF RAIN RFID Module has all the features you’ve come to expect with the M6e Module Series and more! Unique to the M7E Series, the M7E-Hecto modules are some of the smallest on the market and have high sensitivity, efficient power utilization and fast read rates, allowing for design and application flexibility. While you may be tempted to start at the chip level, using a module can offer benefits such as less development time and faster integration, ultimately improving time-to-market and overall costs.

The M7E Hecto features the Impinj Ex10 RAIN RFID reader chip. The modules have very low power consumption and are ideal for battery-operated, low cost, small form-factor portable readers. Their wide RF output range is critical in supporting read/write requirements for RFID-enabled printers and tag commissioning stations.

The M7E platform uses the same Mercury API as other JADAK ThingMagic products, allowing for easy software integration and customization based on form-fit-function SKUs. The modules are flexible enough to allow OEMs to tailor a license that enables the features of interest in the field.

That's it for this week. As always, we can't wait to see what you make! Shoot us a tweet @sparkfun, or let us know on Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn. Please be safe out there, be kind to one another! We'll be back with more new products next week so make sure to check back then. Happy hacking!
