Come hang out with us at the Northern Colorado Mini Maker Faire!
Next Saturday, October 5th, is the Northern Colorado (NoCo) Mini Maker Faire in Loveland, CO. If you have never been to a Maker Faire, it's a great opportunity to see tons of cool projects, meet a bunch of interesting people, and have an all-around great time. The faire takes place at the Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation and Technology and runs from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
SparkFun Electronics is hosting a soldering workshop all day long! We're bring three of our most popular soldering kits - the Simon Kit, the Weevil Eye and the latest version of the BigTime Kit. So come hang out with us and learn how to solder - or just brush up on your skills!
We'll also be participating in an "Ask an Engineer" session where we will answer all your electronics-related questions (or at least attempt to). You can find more details about that here.
We hope you are able to join us! Advance tickets are only $10 for adults and $7 for kids/students (plus a touch of fees). And! Bonus! The event's organizers were nice enough to offer a deal for SparkFun customers - if you enter the code SparkFun at checkout, you'll get a $1.00 discount on your advance tickets! Buy your tickets today!
Oh Goody. They got rid of the 'Continue Reading...' button. :-)
Don't say we never got you anything nice.
Wait, so it's the size of the fair that's mini, and not the size of the makers? So there will be no one there representing the Lollipop Guild? Slightly disappointed, but I'll still go.
See you there!
I can't go to the Northern Colorado Faire but I'll be at the Northern Vermont Faire this weekend - as will SparkFun, I think.
Yup! I believe the EDU RV is on its way there now. They were just in Boston yesterday at Artisan's Asylum.
Ahh, Next-Next Saturday, not Next Saturday. ;-) My calendar is right. Look forward to checking it out.
So which engineers will be at the talk?
Most likely it will be Pearce, Mike Grusin and Nick Poole (Creative Technologist).
