Calling all AVC Spectators - it's nearly time to get your proof of concept turned in!
June is rapidly approaching, which means the SparkFun Autonomous Vehicle Competition is only a bit over a month away!
This post is a reminder to all competitors to please send us your proof of concept video by the end of May. We understand you might still be working on your bot, but just show us what you're building, where you're at, and what you still need to do to get your entry ready to roll. Also let us know how it works and what parts you used so we can verify you are in the right class. If you can't do video, pictures are just fine.
Email us your proof of concept by June 1, 2014 to AVC@sparkfun.com!
Also, spectators - please register for a free spectator ticket. This will help us get a handle on attendance numbers so we can plan all the food and fun activities!
See you at the Boulder Reservoir on June 21st!
Any plans for a UAS/quadcopter meet up this spring as was done last year?
When measuring the size of the vehicle, can we push the suspension down by hand to make it fit in the box dimensions?
Also will there be power to recharge batteries, and will there be a work area?
Was hoping to have a horse in the race this year, but knowing I'll be away for three of the four weeks leading up to it, I'm relegated to spectator once again. Still a great time. See you there!
While technically a horse is autonomous, I don't believe they are allowed anyway. :)
