Be the light of your loved one's life with a heartfelt card!
Sure, Valentine's Day can be a much-maligned topic, but we at SparkFun have embraced the holiday, if for no other reason than it's an excuse to finagle electronics into a homemade project for people we like (or like like). If, like us, you will find any excuse to make something light up, join us at our Valentine's Paper Circuits class on February 5th, where together we will bring glory and voltage to a traditional homemade valentine.
The class teaches the mechanics of building paper circuits with copper tape, requires no soldering and includes all supplies; sign up here and we'll see you there!
See our LED page for everything you need to know to start using these components in your project.
Just so you know, Valentine's Day is not an actual 'holiday'. But don't tell my sweetheart. ;)
Thanks to both, that's what I was looking for.
Is there going to be anything for the 7 billion or so of us that can't attend this event? Tutorials or such? Wish lists? Sometime well before the 5th so that we can wait for the package to slooooowly make its way from Colorado?
Well, here are the slides, materials list and templates we use to teach the course. Enjoy!
Check out these two tutorials: "Let It Glow Holiday Cards" and "Light-Up Father's Day Card." That should do it!
