Our own Dia is hosting a workshop at Georgia Tech!

As you know, we at SparkFun have been invested in the wearable tech world for years, and try to share our knowledge as often as possible in the hopes of inspiring anyone curious about e-textiles to get involved! As such, we're excited to share that our very own TechStylist Dia will be representing us at the Symposium on Design and Wearable Technology, May 8-9 at Georgia Tech!

The symposium will feature speakers, panels, workshops, a design exhibit, and an opening reception. Dia's workshop will introduce some basic concepts of wearable tech, and attendees will leave with a custom working prototype that they've come up with! Participants will have an opportunity to get their hands dirty with an assortment of DIY wearable components, including inputs, outputs, and handmade switches. You can see more information about Dia's workshop here, and register for the symposium here. We hope to see you there!
