The seventh annual SparkFun Autonomous Vehicle Competition is today!
The day is finally here -- the seventh annual SparkFun Autonomous Vehicle Competition is today!
This is probably our favorite day of the year, when SparkFunions from far and wide descend upon Boulder, Colo. (ok, ok -- Niwot) to spend a day in geeky revelry, watching robots compete in a no-holds-barred race to the finish.
If you couldn't make the trip, we've got you covered. As usual we have our scoreboard, which can be found at sfe.io/scores. We'll also be providing some updates on our Twitter, but more importantly, we are trying two livestreams -- one livestream of the ground course and one livestream of our new combat bots.
Our goal is to have the livestreams up and running by 9 a.m. (the best laid plans...), so we hope you'll join us in checking out this awesome and fun event!
Finally, don't forget to explore our special AVC sale going on now! We selected some of our favorite chassis, motor drivers and other robotics products and put them at nice AVC-only discounts. It ends Sunday, June 21st at 11:59 p.m. MDT and supplies are limited -- get 'em while the getting is good.
Happy AVC Day!
It was great to watch the Robot Battles over the web. Great job SF!
It would be interesting to hear how many used GPS vs. no GPS, especially among the scorers.
