Cyber Monday prices have expired but don't worry. There will be plenty more deals at SparkFun all of December, and they will all be online! Check out our blog for all the best DIY electronics you can find this holiday season.
WTH! How do you have a cyber Monday sale that ends on Monday before 9pm! So people just getting home are out of luck. What a joke! Would the 3 extra hours really hurt your business? Probably not, but I'm sure you pissed a few potential customers off!
We appreciate your love of the deal more than you could know. We're always striving to give you the best-run sale as possible. However we didn't think it prudent to have our staff work more than 12 hours a day. No deal is worth an unhappy workforce. We really appreciate your feedback though and hope to make all future sales even better!
I'm sorry, but that response is a complete bunk! You have a website, NOT a store! I would absolutely agree if it was a physical store people actually had to come to, but it's not. This a failure of your website development team. There is no reason a program couldn't have handled a timed sale! You had a year to prepare. Any order placed after 9 could have easily been filled in the morning, leaving you with more sales and happy customers! Honestly, I would have been happier with " We really appreciate your feedback and hope to make all future sales even better "!
Let the staff relax, have a few cold ones and start filling orders again the next day. ( I would wager that racking up time-and-a-half eases a bit of the pain as well). You already warn about slippage in the same-day shipping policy, I am sure many of us west of CO would happily wait a day or two in exchange for some of these deals.
Between this and the typo on the Black Friday post listing the end date as 12/27 instead of 11/27 I am 0 for 2. Or is that 2 for 2 saving myself from my own impulses?
The ending time didn't end up biting me, but a co-worker was looking through stuff trying to decide on his first Arduino purchase, then he ran some errands, got home, and the deal was over. He was a little upset, but now he's comparing with other distributors as prices have returned to normal. You might have missed that all important "first sale" that locks in eternal customers!

I second that. Seriously. What gives? :-(

I'm disappointed. The post on FB didn't state the ending time.
