Happy Monday! Arduino Day is Saturday, April 2, but SparkFun's largest sale of the year this side of Cyber Monday starts this Friday, April 1st (it's not a trick). As is tradition, we'll have deep discounts on several Arduino products. As an added bonus to celebrate how important Arduino has been to SparkFun's very existence, we're also offering 10 percent off all SparkFun Originals for the duration of the sale. Check out all the eligible products under the "SparkFun Originals" tab at the top left of the homepage. Also take a look below for the rules of the sale. Thanks for stopping in, and we'll see you Friday for the deals!
Arduino Day Sales Rules
All sales prices will run from 12:01 a.m. MDT on Friday, April 1st, to midnight MDT on Sunday, April 3rd. Sale prices are good only while supplies last, so get in early to get the best Arduino items available. No backorders on sales items are allowed, and distributor and educator accounts will not be eligible for Arduino Day sales prices. Some items will have maximum quantities available per order.

Two questions: Is this available worldwide or limited to the USA? and, If I buy an Arduino, will I get an Arduino board saying Arduino Board, or an Arduino board saying Genuino Board? I'm in Mx. As in the country south of the USA border.
Currently all the boards we carry are branded Arduino (except the Genuino 101 which is not on sale) or are not branded either (such as the SparkFun Redboard).
The sale is open internationally as well. We have several different boards on sale but unfortunately the Genuino (part 13850) will not be on sale tomorrow.
Is there anyway to know what the limited quantities will be, and on which items, so I can properly allocate my spending?
Hey! While I can't give you specifics per board I can tell you that the max quantities are between 5 and 7 boards for the special sales and no maximums on the SparkFun Originals.
Thanks for the heads up. If I recall correctly, previous years you were limited to 2. This may make it a very interesting weekend! :)
Hey, nifty. 10% off of the Shapeoko Deluxe Kit. B-)
Pitty I don't have $899 burning a hole in my pocket... :'(
Sounds like SparkFun is so excited that they're starting early! Arduino Day is planned for April 2nd: https://day.arduino.cc
You're exactly right!
Is it that mellis is right that: A. SparkFun is starting early. or B. Arduino Day is the 2nd so the sale should really be on the 2nd.
I can take your response either way so I'm confused.
A. We are starting early and B. While Arduino Day is officially on the 2nd most of our customers don't shop during the weekends so we thought it best to have a weekday for them to participate.
At last! Brace yourselves! Sparkfun's discounts are coming! :D
