Checkout Casey's new tutorial on creating
LilyFlyer - a kite with accelerometer controlled LEDs. The
LilyPad based
LilyFlyer is an awesome example of truly embedded electronics.
Reminds me of something I did in high school! I stuck a bunch of Christmas lights on a kite just to see what it would look like. Wound up creating a rash of UFO sightings.
We thought about stopping in Roswell on a road trip to give them a show. But we rolled in at 1am, stopped three times to find the right hotel, we were delirious and there was no wind...
Maybe next time.
great idea, i think i'll try
Who? Us? We didn't do that. Never. :)
love it!
Are you guys pimpin around in a limo? And I agree, nice kite stand.
Don't mind the limo. It just hangs around out back.
Great project, when are we going to see a video showing off the LEDs?
Great idea! I'd like to try that on my snowkites. Got a video?
That's freaking cool! What a fun project!
