Whoa, thanks for showing up, folks! This is a very special product release for us here at SparkFun Electronics, since we have never had a post on this day before. On this Sunday we are very pleased to bring you three, yes THREE brand new products that you have never seen before. We teased them a bit this previous Tuesday, but now we are ultra happy to share them with you now! Without further ado, let's take a close look at these brand new, totally real products!
First up on this fine Sunday, we have these Wireless Hook-Up Wire packs! IoT and wireless technologies are all the rage nowadays. It seems like everywhere you turn, someone is trying to peddle a product that connects to the cloud, automates your home, or communicates over miles with whatever you need it to communicate with – and that's where this "wire" comes in! The Wireless Hook-Up Wire removes the wire from the equation, allowing you to build a circuit on a breadboard without any of those pesky cables blocking your view!
Breadboards have been a staple for any electronics hobbyist and professional for untold eons, but the one thing they have never been really good for is being able to, well... cut bread on them. The SparkFun Bread Cutting Board is a revolutionary design from us – we've taken patented crumb retention technology, open sourced it, and made it available on this handy board! When applying power to the board it may double-cook the crumbs found in the retention ports but that will just provide you a tasty, mid-project snack!
No, your eyes aren't deceiving you, this product really does look like Nick – but it isn't! The Nick-N.A.C.K. (Neural Autonomous Cyborg Kit) is a breakthrough in artificial intelligence and human simulation technology that seamlessly blurs the lines between what is human and what isn't! The Nick-N.A.C.K. will help you build projects, engineer boards, and help you in a multitude of different ways.
That's it for today folks! We hope you enjoyed all of these spurious new products! Make sure to take good care of them and they will be sure to take good care of you. We'll be back to our normal schedule next Friday. See you then, and happy April Fool's Day!
I’d like to submit a bug report on the Nick-N.A.C.K.:
It’s output font needs to be changed to one that shows differentiation between the digit one, upper case letter aye, and lower case letter el.
LOL. Does the Nick-N.A.C.K. know the two new bands that were added to the Amateur Radio allocations?
Cute!
