Hello everyone, and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! We have a slightly smaller week again so we can prepare for some additional big releases that we have on the horizon (you might even see one or two next week)! We start this Friday off with a new BreadBoard Mates starter kit for their TIMI-96 module. We've seen quite a few of you utilize their LCD development tool, so we are excited to offer this new kit! Following that, we are now offering all of our 14-Segment Alphanumeric Displays as standalone units. That way, if you want to make your own board for them or insert them into a breadboard, you can now do so! Now, let's jump in and take a closer look at all of this week's new products.

The TIMI-96 is a unique breadboard compatible display development module, aimed to speed up and reinvent the way electronic testing, development and projects are carried out, in either stand alone, host interfaced, PC tethered, or educational settings. If this is your first time using TIMI-96, we highly recommend you purchase the Starter Kit (over the standalone module) as the Programmer will be essential for all development work.

We are quite familiar with seven-segment displays. We see them on our alarm clocks, ovens, and microwaves. By adding more segments to each digit you can display more than just numbers! These red, blue, purple, pink, white, and green 14-segment displays allow you to show off all sorts of numbers, characters, and symbols.

SparkFun Constellation MicroMod Kit

KIT-21224

As a general reminder: The SparkFun Constellation MicroMod Kit is our newest limited edition offering that joins the ranks of the SkeleBoard and the SnowBoard. Instead of releasing a single board this year, we have opted to release a full kit, instead! This kit combines both MicroMod and Qwiic in a single box with a limited edition MicroMod ATP Carrier Board and MultiStar (this year's April Fool's Day joke). No, we aren't joking this time! Due to popular demand, we have reworked the MultiStar into a working (and much safer) celestial version of the MultiPort. Also included in this kit is a MicroMod Screw Driver and two Qwiic Cables to get you hooked up! The ATP Carrier Board and MultiStar included in this kit feature a matte black PCB with a star scape design in white silk.

Hurry! There are only 250 units available of the SparkFun Constellation MicroMod Kit - once they're gone, they're gone for good!

That's it for this week. As always, we can't wait to see what you make. Shoot us a tweet @sparkfun, or let us know on Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn. Please be safe out there, be kind to one another, and we'll see you next week with even more new products!

Never miss a new product!
