How can you run nearly any smart device available - no matter the company or licensed software barriers - under one home automation umbrella? The answer includes your favorite tech toys, like Alexa, Google Home, and HomeKit, a Raspberry Pi, and a little something called Homebridge. Home automation is becoming even more accessible, and there are sure to be more exciting things to come to enable the smart home of your dreams!

When Jean Rabault was looking for a cheaper and more compact way to collect data on sea ice for the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, he looked to the Artemis Global Tracker (AGT) as an alternative.

Learn about three different antennas carried by SparkFun, and determine which will suit your long-range needs! Follow along with Mariah in this blog as she range tests a few of our antennas (and meets a bear along the way).

This blog is all about Oscilloscopes, a marvelous measurement tool that has contributed significantly to the success of SparkFun. Read about the history and evolution of this tremendous technology, as well as the one Giordan found in the SparkFun basement!

Do you miss buttons? Coins? Questionable publicly shared surfaces? When Boulder removed its payphones, Nate installed one of his own on the street capable of Rick-rolling, asking for money through the medium of song, and plenty of other jokes (as well as emergency calls!).

Single Pair Ethernet enables easier sensor integration without additional gateways or interfaces and simplifies communication from sensor to local server or cloud. We launched a new and improved version of the RTK Facet this year, and it's sure to be the star of your surveying setup. And of course, none of these would exist without our products! Here are just a few of our product release highlights from 2022.
