Hello, and welcome back to your weekly Friday Product Post! We know we’ve been quiet for the past couple of weeks, but we’re here to make it up to you this week with two exciting product announcements - namely, a new GNSS Combo Breakout and a cosmetic makeover for our ever-popular SIK. Before you get worried, the new SparkFun Inventor's Kit v4.1.2 keeps all the included parts and curriculum the same, we've just updated the carrying case to a new and more portable version (it’s very nice). Following that, the ZED-F9P, NEO-D9S GNSS Combo Breakout has graduated from SparkX and is now in SparkFun Red, getting full support and guides! Let's jump in and take a closer look at all of this week's new products.

With GNSS, you can know where you are, where you're going, and how to get there anywhere on Earth within 30 seconds. This means the higher the accuracy, the better! Our versatile GNSS Combo Breakout pairs the u-blox ZED-F9P multi-band high-precision GNSS module with the NEO-D9S L-band GNSS correction data receiver. With a clear view of the sky, specifically to the South, this combo breakout will deliver centimeter-level accuracy positioning without needing separate RTK or NTRIP corrections! The ZED-F9P and NEO-D9S combo board raises the bar for high-precision GPS and is one of a line of mighty SparkFun RTK boards.

The SparkFun Inventor's Kit v4.1.2 is a great way to get started with programming and hardware interaction with the Arduino programming language. The SIK includes everything you need to complete five overarching projects of 16 interconnected circuits that teach everything from blinking an LED to reading sensors. The culminating project is your very own autonomous robot! No previous programming or electronics experience is required to use this kit. As we stated earlier, the only thing that has changed from v4.1 to v4.1.2 is our new carrying case. All of the internal parts and instructional guide have remained the same!

A Lab Pack for the SIK v4.1.2 is now available for pre-order! We expect to have physical stock of this educator pack within the next few weeks.

It's simple but durable construction could be exactly what you need to keep all your parts safe and secure!

That's it for this week. As always, we can't wait to see what you make. Shoot us a tweet @sparkfun, or let us know on Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn. Please be safe out there, be kind to one another! We'll be back with more new products next week so make sure to check back then. Happy hacking!
