April 7-15 is a special time for electronics enthusiasts - it's National Robotics Week! National Robotics Week recognizes robotics technology as a pillar of 21st century American innovation, highlights its growing importance in a wide variety of application areas, and emphasizes its ability to inspire technology education. And it's also a lot of fun!
One of our AVC entrants from last year.
National Robotics Week is truly a "national event" as it encourages people around the country to get together in the name of robotics. In Denver, one event we are excited about is AUTOMATE! Denver. This great event, taking place on April 14, 2012 at Club Workshop, will showcase developments in robotics; Roboticists, Makers, and Inventors from local companies and clubs will present their robots.
What can you do to get involved? Look for a robotics event near you! There are events taking place all over the country and there is most likely something near you. If not, maybe take this chance to get started on that robot you've always wanted to build. Happy RoboWeek everyone!
