We have some new products from some of our partners today that we're sure you'll enjoy!
Hello everyone! Welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! This week, we have three new products from some of our partners and suppliers that should provide you with some extra options in terms of environmental sensing, GNSS transmiting and receiving, and audio detection! We start the week off with Sensirion's new SEN55 Particle, VOC, Humidity, and Temperature Sensor which is the next version of the SEN54. After that, we have a new helical GNSS Multi-Band (L1/L2/L5) antenna and a new Bluetooth® microphone dongle. Now, let's jump in and take a closer look at this week's new products!
The SEN55 environmental node is a straightforward, all-in-one sensor solution platform for the accurate measurement of various environmental parameters, such as particulate matter, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), oxidizing gases, such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), as well as humidity & temperature.
The BT-T009 antenna is a small, light weight, anti-vandal permanent mount GNSS/GPS L1/L2/L5 multi-band antenna for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations. Designed more for permanent mount applications, requiring four screws to be installed/deinstalled. Think of it as kind of anti-vandal. The BT-T009 weighs in at ≤22g grams with a standard SMA connector. This antenna is a good choice for applications where you have a clear view of the sky. If you can handle the extra weight, the u-blox ANN-MB-00 or TOP106 will have better reception performance.
This is a tiny USB Microphone from Kinobo that plugs into your laptop, desktop, Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano Dev kit, anything with a USB port you may be using as a computer to add microphone functionality. There is no need to install any extra software as you OS should detect the device & automatically install it.
