Favorited Favorite 1

Hello everyone and welcome to the last Friday Product Post before our holiday break. This week, we have three new products to show off and we are actually going to start with a new Qwiic NEO-F9P L1/L5 GNSS-RTK Breakout! The GNSS-RTK L1/L5 Breakout is equipped with a powerful 184-channel u-blox F9 engine GNSS receiver, meaning it can receive signals from the GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations with 10mm, three-dimensional accuracy! Following that, we are proud to start carrying SparkFun's own, Nick Poole's BeanCounter! We wrap the week with a new 210 piece Standoff Kit.

Before we get into the new products, from December 12th – 23rd enjoy big savings on a new SparkFun Dev Board each day. This is our final sale of the year, so if you are still looking for the perfect gift to give this holiday, make sure you give our sale page (or our Holiday Gift Guide) a check! You can even use the promo code holidays2023 at checkout from December 12 — December 24 to get a Qwiic MultiStar Constellation Ornament with any purchase.

Now, let's jump in and take a closer look at all of this week's new products!

$249.95

The SparkFun GNSS-RTK L1/L5 Breakout - NEO-F9P (Qwiic) is a high-precision GNSS board with equally impressive configuration options. The NEO-F9P is an upgrade to the NEO-M8P and utilizes the L1/L5 bands instead of the L1/L2 bands. Utilizing the L5 band, the NEO-F9P delivers improved performance under challenging urban environments because the L5 signals fall within the protected ARNS (aeronautical radio navigation service) frequency band. This band is less subject to RF interference.

BeanCounter is an SMT parts counter that fits in your pocket. It’s battery powered and uses two IR photointerrupters to count parts about as fast as you can pull them through. It works with any opaque, 8-mm-wide carrier tape with a part height of up to 2mm for plastic tapes and a total thickness of 1mm for paper tapes. This covers most 0805-or-smaller LEDs and passives, as well as SOT23 transistors. It’s an affordable SMT tape counter without unnecessary bells and whistles.

One of the things we always seem to need is standoffs. This 210 piece brass standoff kit ensures you'll always have a set handy. Covering two of the most popular screw sizes used with PCBs and different standoff heights, it's a perfect addition to your benchtop or tool drawer.
