SparkFun's headed to Missouri to take part in the conference - come check it out!
Happy Monday, everyone. First, we wanted to give you a heads up -- because Hurricane Sandy is swirling around out there wreaking general atmospheric havoc, shipping times to the east coast will be delayed a little bit. We hope everyone in the storm's path is staying safe!
Now, are you tired of dead-end dreams about creating your world-dominating robot? Good news! Next week, SparkFun is heading to Jefferson City, Missouri, to take part in the Missouri Educational Robotics Conference. The conference, which runs Friday, Nov. 9 - Sunday, Nov. 11, will focus on workshops, showcases and presentations for adults and teens interested in robotics opportunities in their communities.
A few of our intrepid educators will be at the conference teaching some classes for robotics enthusiasts. On Friday evening we'll be teaching a LilyPad E-textiles class and an Intro to Arduino class with the ProtoSnap Mini. And on Saturday, we'll be teaching a Soft Circuits class and a class on wireless communication with XBee and Arduino. You can see the schedule for our classes and for the entire conference here.

There are a ton of great workshops, and we encourage anyone in the area who's interested in learning more about robotics to sign up. You can register here. We're really excited to be part of such a fun conference, and we hope to see you there!
Great post Destroyer!
Love it! I hope a lot of people register.
I'll be attending! See you all there :)
