User Manuals are full of helpful information to get you on the right path when you're working with an unfamiliar piece of equipment. Not least among these helpful bites of information are various safety warnings, so chances are good that if you've managed to injure yourself in the midst of a hacking session, you've probably neglected to follow some very good advice.
~~If you~~ When you manage to incur minor injury while tinkering with your favorite new widget, reach for one of these handy adhesive bandages. Not only will it keep your 'ouchie' clean and protected but it will also serve as an important reminder to Read The Full Manual. These bandages are sealed and sterile just like the ones down at your local drugstore, but better because they incorporate our favorite color and some good advice.
**Note: **Sold in packs of 5 bandages.

Wow. A product whose intended purpose is to add insult to injury. Brilliant.
I don't know about that... I thought you should always Read The Feng shui (fung-shway) Manual for Electrical Engineering. I have always found that it helped one improve life by receiving positive qi (ch'i) by keeping the blue smoke in your electrical parts.
Also you can improve your Qi by using "Feng shui" as a replacement phrase for those words that tend to upset those more sensitive listeners. Plus it really confuses the censores who want to Beep you.
haha, nice! I like that.
Remember - it's not a hobby until you bleed for it.
Is there any way to order practical quantities of these, like 100? I don't mind paying novelty prices for a few, but I would actually like to use these IRL, and $3 is a rather steep in that context.
Second that.
So where can we download the manual for these?
Funny when I used one of these for fun They gave me a paper cut!
Kudos to you on this, between this and the videos, you help it feel like a small shop run by people we know. Everyone keep in mind, a hot soldering iron looks exactly like a cold one.
There is a picture of a soldering iron a few inches below my comment, I made myself laugh again.
Haha, the "Related Products" should just be everything sparkfun sells that could injure you. There's already two soldering irons, an exacto knife, and a beer glass.
Yeah, I'll admit that I purposely related the irons and knives...
Thank you for reminding me of that, 'cause I'm going to order some solder soon and try to finish my line following robot. I'm gonna sit down and meditate on "hot irons look just like cold ones... Ohm... hot irons look just like cold ones... Ohm...".
"Never grab a falling soldering iron" was one that I learned quickly.
"Make sure you're jamming the iron into the holder instead of your hand" is a third one.
And then: sit down in the basement with an 8.4 oz can of Brain Toniq...
Brain Toniq is probably my favorite drink 'cause I'm in a better mood and more focused without caffeine. I swear, it's actually difficult to have a random thought after drinking it.

No caffeine or Guarana/Corn Syrup/other speed-and-crash stuff. Anyone familiar with it?
EDIT: No, this is not a spambot from TrueToniqs. They are honest people who run a small company in Boulder, CO.
A brilliant reminder!
i'm finnish people, and finnish people newer read manuals...just kiddin'
If I use these, I'll have to stop using tape for my injuries!! ;-)
Ordered!
