Is this fan quiet? I've found that the 3 or 4 wire pwm speed controlled fans I've tried would not slow down to an acceptable speed vs sound. I would like a few silent/discrete fans that can really move some air without waking the dead...

    • Looks like it's high speed, so it'll be loud. But who really knows since the datasheet doesn't match and the picture shows a 180 mA fan, not 240 mA. You might be able to run it at 5V, where it would be pretty quiet. Or just get a decent fan from Newegg.
