'Tis the season to put colorful lights on everything! Okay, it's always the season to put colorful lights on everything, so we've put together the simplest kit for lighting up a string of addressable, RGB LEDs. All you need to do is solder the 1 meter string of LEDs to the SparkFun Redstick, upload the example code and throw in the included AA batteries! Use this kit to light up your holiday displays, your seasonal ugly sweater or anything else that could use some cheer!

Very cool little Arduino setup... coding examples are easy to follow and give insight into creating your own light show.
This kit really has everything needed to get started with some simple LED strip projects (well, not exactly everything, you do need to have your own soldering kit.) I used mine to add some interesting flair to my holiday stocking. I'm sure I won't have any trouble re-purposing the hardware after I take down my stocking.
