SparkFun Qwiic Cable Kit

The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is constantly growing in popularity with makers. So to make it even easier to get started, we've assembled this Qwiic Cable Kit for everyone. If you aren't sure which Qwiic cable to use, this handy box includes all of them allowing you to save a little money and time! It has a little something for everyone.

The SparkFun Qwiic Cable Kit includes 10 cables of various lengths and styles that will get your Qwiic boards connected together, to a development platform, or to a breadboard. Each Qwiic Cable's wires have been color coded to red, black, blue and yellow with 1mm JST termination.

All Qwiic cables have the following color scheme and arrangement:

  • Black = GND
  • Red = 3.3V
  • Blue = SDA
  • Yellow = SCL

The SparkFun Qwiic connect system is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This reduces the amount of required PCB space, and polarized connections mean you can’t hook it up wrong.

great selection of connectors, and spares are always good.

Qwiic cables work as expected

Decent quality and price.

Great cables

Be sure to purchase more than one or at least one additional PRT-14425/CAB-14988. Believe in me, you gonna need

Plenty of cables

I bought the kit because the Zio INA219 Current and Voltage (Qwiic) Sensor, that I bought, did not come with a cable. So far I've only used the 500mm cable and it's worked fine except the connector ends were a little tight at first and I was worried about damaging the pins on the board connectors but they seem to be alright. I like that the kit includes the male and female breadboard jumpers. I think there are enough cables in the kit to meet my needs for quite awhile.

Everybody needs connections

I traded a very reasonable amount of money for not sacrificing an existing cable and doing a burnt offering ( Mandatory knuckle tap while soldering, can be thought of as re-injection of blue smoke). The assortment of length was a selling point. The longest may keep the Pi out of the total destruction envelope.

Decent assortment of cables.

This is a good assortment of cables. It would be nice if it came with a few that had tinned wires or no connector on one end.

Great quality!

All good from ordering to shipping1

Simple, Functional, and flexable

Exactly what I needed to connect the parts of my project together. Well packaged!

Excellent addition to ANY Qwiic System

Every single cable is useful for many applications. If you have a Qwiic system (or multiple) these are a MUST. Eventually you will figure out what exact cable is needed (length, type, etc). But for prototyping these kit is ESSENTIAL.

Very convenient.

I really don't mind soldering leads and spliced wires. But the Qwiic connect wiring makes the connections a breeze. Great product.

So easy, so Qwiic.

I was responsible to leading a socially distanced summer workshop that focused on developing prototypes for COVID-related devices. These students had never build embedded hardware or programmed devices. In three weeks each of the teams completed their projects. Qwiic-enabled devices allowed us to focus on the core components and just plug-and-play them together. jck

Covers Most QWIIC Cable Needs

Good quality and perfect length for both breadboarding and final assembly.

Qwiic makes prototyping quick

I am using these with QWIIC boards. Love the ease and no soldering required :)

Glad I bought this, instead of one cable

This was super handy to have on hand as I made my project. Because it turned out I could use a shorter-length cable than what I anticipated. And now I can be ready for the next one!

Quick delivery

Like the quality of your offerings and their quick delivery.

An amazing value

These cables are perfect for any project!!

Good way to get started

I purchased a Qwiic cable kit when I got Sparkfun's Garmin LIDAR-Lite V4/LED with the Qwiic breakout board. The Qwiic cable kit allowed me to rapidly connect the LIDAR to a plugboard with a Teensy 3.5 to confirm the LIDAR was working properly and to investigate other issues.

Qwiic cables

Good quality. Everything one needs to experiment with all the way to completing a project.

Customer Support

I had to place an order for Qwiik Cel;lular NoteCarrier card from my personal account because the students needed to do projects.

Sparkfun would not honor placed by FSU because there was an unpaid bills in the past.

Now I understand why. THEY DO NOT PICK UP PHONES.

Very Handy I2C Wiring Kit

This kit delivered what was expected. It has more than enough wires to overload your I2C bus on a raspberry pi 5. The connecters fit well and hold snuggly when inserted. So far this item in conjunction with the qwiic sensors and pi that I bought are making prototyping and development a breeze.

excellent kit covers all needed options
