The Argon40 Fan HAT for the Raspberry Pi Model B boards is a great way to cool your board during more intensive applications. This software controlled fan comes in a typical HAT configuration and plugs right into the 40-pin I/O header on the Raspberry Pi. It will work with the 4, 3B, and 3B+ and fits in all the Argon40 cases we sell (It comes built into the Argon ONE, so no need to buy it if that's the case you're using.
For quieter cooling, check out our line of heatsink cases or the Argon NEO.
If it requires power, you need to know how much, what all the pins do, and how to hook it up. You may need to reference datasheets, schematics, and know the ins and outs of electronics.
Skill Level: Rookie - You may be required to know a bit more about the component, such as orientation, or how to hook it up, in addition to power requirements. You will need to understand polarized components.
